With over 20 years of guiding and guide training experience, JP has worked as a guide in both the overland industry and within South Africa’s elite luxury lodges, including Singita Lebombo and Tswalu Kalahari. He has trained and assessed for several leading training providers such as EcoTraining, and most recently presented the beauty of nature on Wild Earth TV.

JP’s passion for sharing nature’s wonders with his guests and making them feel special and appreciated has spilled over into a passion for self-improvement and learning. He is continually growing his skills and following his vision to deliver world-class guiding and training experiences – with the aim of inspiring, while at the same time increasing both productivity and profitability within organizations.

Guiding is undoubtedly JP’s number one passion.

He currently holds multiple qualifications as a National Guide. These include Culture, Nature, Birding, Adventure and Marine Guiding.

When not guiding, you can find him cycling, running, cooking and pairing wines.
